A VNAHolidays package includes round-trip air tickets and hotel accommodation.
Breakfast may or may not be included. When breakfast is included, it is provided based on the room type: single room - 1 breakfast, double/twin room - 2 breakfasts, triple room - 3 breakfasts. Lotusmiles members can give (transfer) bonus miles only. Miles are transferred as a package. The minimum package to transfer is 1,000 miles. Members need to book their ticket before claiming award tickets to confirm seat availability. The Lotusmiles Center will calculate your award based on the reserved flight date and whether it is peak or low season to determine the deducted mileage.
Why do I book the ticket before claiming award ticket at Vietnam Airlines branch offices?
No. Once the award ticket is issued, itineraries cannot be changed. You can only change the class of service, the travel date if seats available. However, you may have to redeem more miles, and pay the taxes, fees and charges for redeeming extra miles if you are changing to a date in a peak period or change class of service.

The 45,000 miles in your account include both qualifying and bonus miles.
You have 45,000 miles but cannot upgrade to Gold level because the qualifying miles in the current qualifying period are less than 30,000 miles.
Why am I not a gold member when I have 45,000 miles in my account?
If you lose your card or do not receive it due to a change in address, please inform us, we will send you a new membership card.

What should I do if I lose my Lotusmiles card?
You may authorize others to perform account-related transactions (except for name change, date of birth, email and mobile phone number) in one of two ways:
Option 1: Members send a request from the email registered in the account to the Lotusmiles program with a photo of the authorization paper signed by the member, a photo of both sides of the member and the authorized person 's identity documents.
Option 2: The authorized person brings his/her own and member's identification papers, authorization paper to Vietnam Airlines branches.
For members under the age of 18, parents/guardians are allowed to get rewards on their behalf without an authorization paper.
Can I authorize someone else to make transactions on my behalf in connection with my Lotusmiles account?

Do the displayed room rates include taxes and service charges?
The rates displayed are per room, however, rates may change based on occupancy and in some instances, the hotel will limits the number of guests per room. It is important input the correct number of guests when booking to avoid additional charges when you check in.
Are the room rates per person or per room?
Most hotels allow children to stay in the room with parents either with or without an extra bed, depending on the size of the room.
Some hotels will limit occupancy of a room to three persons (two adults and one child) or two adults only.
Few hotels have existing bedding for additional children, so an extra bed is usually required depending on the room size and most hotels will charge for this extra bed. Usually hotels will provide breakfast when there is a charge for an extra bed. Some hotel do not include breakfast with the extra bed.
A baby cot may be provided free of charge, by some hotels, for children under the age of two. It will be provided on a first come, first serve basis and availability upon check-in.

Với các chuyến bay bị hủy trước 24 giờ so với giờ khởi hành dự kiến, và được thông báo tới Quý khách thông qua hệ thống SMS/Email của Vietnam Airlines, thì các chuyến nay này sẽ không nằm trong phạm vi bảo hiểm
Với các chuyến bay bị hủy trong vòng 24 giờ trước giờ khởi hành dự kiến, Quý khách cần cung cấp thêm các giấy tờ liên quan để xác định rõ Quyền lợi được chi trả bồi thường trong trường hợp này là bao nhiêu.
Làm sao để tôi có thể biết chuyến bay bị hủy của tôi thuộc phạm vi bảo hiểm của đơn bảo hiểm này?
Quý Khách phải cung cấp hình chụp các giấy tờ sau:
- Hộ chiếu/CMND/Thẻ căn cước;
- Ảnh chụp SMS/Email thông báo việc Chuyến bay bị hủy từ Vietnam Airlines có chứa thông tin thời gian nhận được SMS/Email đó
- Ảnh chụp Thẻ lên tàu bay của Chuyến bay thay thế cho Chuyến bay đã bị hủy
- Giấy tờ xác định người thụ hưởng (nếu người nhận tiền không phải là NĐBH).
- Số tài khoản nhận tiền bồi thường (nếu có) bao gồm: tên ngân hàng, số tài khoản, tên người thụ hưởng. Trong đó tài khoản ngân hàng phải đáp ứng thông tin sau:

Đối với quyền lợi 'Chuyến bay bị hủy', tôi phải bổ sung giấy tờ gì?
Quý khách sẽ chỉ được cấp 01 (một) Giấy Chứng Nhận Bảo hiểm cho cả hành trình nối chuyến, các điều kiện áp dụng như hành trình chỉ có 1 chuyến bay.
Nếu tôi sử dụng sản phẩm nối chuyến của VNA, quyền lợi bảo hiểm theo chương trình này như thế nào?
Ngoài những giấy tờ yêu cầu cung cấp như các Quyền lợi Trễ Chuyến Bay, Chuyến Bay Quay Đầu, Chuyến Bay Đáp Xuống Sân Bay Khác, Quý khách cần bổ sung thêm Hình chụp Bản gốc ‘Vé máy bay của Chuyến Bay kế tiếp’ hoặc Hình chụp Bản gốc ‘Vé máy bay điện tử’.
Đối với quyền lợi "Lỡ Chuyến Bay kế tiếp", tôi phải bổ sung giấy tờ gì?
Bộ phận chăm sóc khách hàng của Vietnam Airlines luôn đảm bảo gửi thông báo qua SMS/Email về việc chuyến bay bị hủy. Trong trường hợp Quý khách không nhận được thông báo trực tiếp của Vietnam Airlines thông qua SMS/Email, kính nhờ quý khách liên hệ với Đại lý đặt vé của Quý khách để yêu cầu cung cấp các thông tin này.
Nếu tôi không nhận được SMS/Email thông báo của Vietnam airlines về việc chuyến bay bị hủy, thì tôi phải tìm các thông tin này ở đâu?

- The coverage for flight cancellation begins on whichever is the later between: (i) the date of issuance of the policy or (ii) the date falling sixty (60) days prior to the first departure date.
When does my TripCARE coverage start?
- For one-way trip: Coverage ends upon the Insured Person’s arrival to the airport at the destination.
- For round trip: Coverage ends once the Insured Person has left the airport premises at the return destination in Vietnam or upon expiry of 30 days from the first departure date, whichever is the earlier; or, if the return destination is outside Vietnam, when the Insured Person checks in at immigration outside the return destination.

What should I do if I encounter an accident abroad?
Insurance coverage excludes any extreme sports and sporting activities including any professional competitions or sporting events in which the Insured Person receives compensation, and other activities as stated in the Exclusions.
Does TripCARE cover sports and similar activities?
- If passengers require the VAT invoice from the travel insurance policy, please provide relevant information to PVI Customer Service hotline at +84 941 555 616 or email bh.support@pvi.com.vn within 72 hours of receipt of the email confirming the insurance policy.
- If the 72 hour period has passed and PVI Insurance has received no request for the VAT invoice from the passenger, it is understood that passenger does not require the VAT invoice and PVI Insurance has no obligation to provide them to customers.
How can I collect the VAT invoice for my TripCARE insurance policy?
If the return flight is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the passengers' control, PVI Insurance will extend the insurance period for 10 days without an additional premium, but the total insurance period shall not exceed 30 days.
If my return flight is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, is my insurance still active?
If you purchase TripCARE Travel Insurance during booking flight tickets on Vietnam Airlines website/app, you can pay by international payment cards VISA, Mastercard, JCB. The insurance premium is paid along with Vietnam Airlines flight tickets.
If you pay for TripCARE Travel Insurance after purchasing flight tickets, you can pay by international payment cards VISA, Mastercard, JCB or Vietnam local card.
Which form of payment can I pay for the premium?
Please contact PVI Insurance before the departure date if you need to cancel your policy. The full premium will be refunded to passengers within 30 days of the request date.
Can I cancel my TripCARE policy? How much will be refunded?
- Passengers need to send refund requests to the customer support department via refund-online@vietnamairlines.com or to Vietnam Airline ticket offices.
- If the request is made before the departure date, Vietnam Airlines will refund ticket fare (based on the terms and condition of the ticket) and request that PVI Insurance refund the insurance premium. If you do not receive any response for the premium refund from PVI Insurance 24 hours after the receipt of refund notice from Vietnam Airlines, please contact PVI Insurance directly by telephone at +84 941 555 616 or email at bh.support@pvi.com.vn.
- If the request is made on or after the departure date, the insurance premium cannot be refunded.
How do I get a full fare and insurance premium refund?
If the first leg of the round trip has started, the policy cannot be canceled or refunded.
I took the first leg flight but canceled the return leg of the round trip, can I get the premium refunded?
- If incorrect personal information has been entered when purchasing the flight ticket, passengers need to contact Vietnam Airlines for assistance of name amendment or purchasing new ticket and contact PVI Insurance for the policy amendment.
- If customers do not contact PVI Insurance then PVI Insurance could not indemnify in case of insurance event.
I have provided the incorrect name of the Insured and forgot to advise PVI Insurance. Am I eligible to file a claim in case of insurance event?
PVI Insurance will indemnify the Insured Person reasonable and customary medical expenses incurred due to injury or disease/illness sustained during a trip, as specified in the policy wording.

Passengers need to provide confirmation of loss or damage of luggage from an airline representative, invoices and receipts proving lost or damaged luggage value and invoices and receipts for repairing or recovering damage and loss.
Items in my checked baggage have been stolen, what documents do I need to file a claim?
Passengers need to contact PVI Insurance via telephone at +84 941 555 616 or email at bh.support@pvi.com.vn. Written notice of claims must be submitted to PVI Insurance within 30 days of completion of the trip covered by the Policy. PVI Insurance will indemnify the loss within 15 business days of receipt of the required documents.
When an insurance event occurs, who do I contact to file a claim? What is the procedure for claims? How soon will I get the indemnity?
The insurance buyer and the Insured Person undertake to comply fully with all laws and regulations relating to purchasing insurance via Vietnam Airlines' electronic ticketing system in accordance with the regulations of the country where the insurance is purchased.
The insurance buyer makes the premium payment for the Insured Person and undertakes that the Insured Person is eligible to be insured, that his/her name is on Vietnam Airlines’ ticket and is issued a Certificate of Insurance for the scheduled flights within the territory of Vietnam or departing from Vietnam.
When I purchase the insurance product, am I subject to any legal constraints?
At the moment, if you wish to purchase flight & travel insurance at once, the system will only support the international payment card such as Visa, MasterCard or JCB. However, if you would like to use other form of payment (e.g. domestic ATM card), you should complete payment for your ticket and then visit Manage Your Booking to add insurance later.
I don’t use an international payment card. So can I use other form of payment to purchase TripCARE travel insurance?
A maximum of nine passengers (not including infants) and three rooms can be booked through the website in the same vacation booking order. For 10 passengers or above, please divide into separate booking orders.
Note: Some hotels don’t have triple sharing rooms. They have twin/double room only. In this case, you may have to book five rooms for nine guests.

Can I book a room type that is not listed with H.I.T‘s hotel service?

When do I get my confirmation email?
When a transfer service is listed, it's usually a requirement in order to get to your hotel. You can choose not to use the service but you will need to negotiate with the hotel before arrival to remove the fee.

I have booked and paid successfully, why is there no record at the hotel?
No further discounts are available unless stated on the hotel page.
Are there special discounts for senior citizens, airline employees, hotel card member or government officials?
Yes, if the website shows no availability, the hotel is fully booked for those dates.
Please choose one of the following options: go back to your chosen hotel and change your search criteria OR search again for available hotels in your chosen destination.
Your website shows no availability, does that mean the hotel is fully booked?
Our hotel partners may change rates and promotions at any time. Market conditions, changes in strategy and availability are just a few reasons why you may experience this rate fluctuation.
Why did the room rate change?
The hotel address will be shown on the hotel information page on Vietnam Airlines' website. After the booking is confirmed, the hotel address and telephone number will be displayed on the hotel voucher.
Where can I find the hotel address?
On the hotel search result page, click on ‘Select Room Type' for the hotel listings and the system will display all room types available at the hotel you have selected. Available room types also show on the hotel detail page. If a certain room type you are looking for is not shown on the hotel page, it is not available for the dates you have selected.
How can I see all the different room types offered?
Guests will register their personal details at the front desk of the hotel at check-in. Guests may be required to confirm their identity by providing their booking reference, their passport/identity card/driver's license and a valid credit or debit card which will be swiped in the presence of the card holder. Foreign nationality guests may be required to leave a photocopy of their passport with the front desk.
There may be a SECURITY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT collected by the hotel before check-in. The SECURITY REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT will be refunded during check-out.
What is the check-in procedure?

How do I find out if a hotel has a certain facility or amenity?
The type of breakfast offered depends on the individual hotel. Please contact your hotel for more details.
What type of breakfast does the hotel provide?
Breakfast is NOT included for children sharing a room with their parents. The hotel will charge the child's breakfast separately.
Note: This will be based on the breakfast and child policy of the individual hotel.

Room types vary from hotel to hotel. However, hotels will generally have Standard, Deluxe, Superior, Club and Suite rooms. The main difference will be the room size and amenities. You can find more information by clicking on [Photo / Info] next to the room type selected.

Yes. Members can make mileage claims within 12 months of the travel date with Vietnam Airlines and within 6 months or 12 months of Skyteam airlines travel (according to SkyTeam policies).

Each booking has a time limit to issue the ticket. When the time limit expired, your booking was cancelled. You can rebook the same itinerary for your award ticket and your award ticket will be issued as normal.
I already have my E-award Certificate Number, but when I went to issue the award ticket, my booking was cancelled. Why?
Member are only required to pay taxes, fees and charges for award tickets.
Why do I have to pay for award tickets?
According to Lotusmiles terms and conditions, earned miles are equal to the booking class of the purchased ticket. In this case, you will have accumulated miles with your Economy Class ticket.
I purchased an economy class ticket but I was upgraded to business at the check-in counter with my platinum membership card. So which class is accumulated to my account?
There is no on hold booking possible for Cash & Miles tickets. Lotusmiles members need to make a reservation, pay and issue Cash & Miles tickets at the same time on www.vietnamairlines.com or Vietnam Airlines branches.
Can I make an on hold booking for Cash & Miles tickets?
